Asem, a Ghanaian rapper, is now involved in sports. (watch)

After years of hibernating in the music industry, Ghanaian rapper Asem has moved out into a new sector, and this time, he appears to have acquired a passion and ability for sports.

Asem, who was previously signed to Lynx Entertainment in 2008, was one of Ghana's top rappers, who came in with a new style and brand that garnered him a large following.

Aside from a few freestyles and feuds with Sarkodie, the rapper hasn't had a hit song in years and hasn't been active in a long time.

The rapper has stopped doing freestyles in favor of presenting his own sports broadcasts in recent months.

His show is called AsemSports, and it is where he studies various EPL matches and gives his personal opinions on them. He has previously released a number of episodes and continues to do so.

Asem's true name is Nana Wiafe Asante-Mensah, and he is a rapper, singer, composer, and actor from Cape Coast, Ghana. At the age of seven, he began singing, dancing, reciting poetry.
