The hot seat television host or presenter, Kwaku Annan has responded to several issues or allegations that have been pinned on some honorable members of this government. Before responding to attacks from Anas and his fans or followers, he started by revealing that there have been a controversy concerning how things are managed by this government. One of the things that people do not understand is that the bauxite that they think is being misused by the government is rather being managed by Nana Addo.
According to Kwaku Annan an amount of about 245 billion dollars is the estimate for the amount of bauxite that is in the ground and is needed to be mined. However, the intelligence of Nana Addo and his government has prevented the full extraction of this mineral. He spoke about how this government have involved themselves in a healthy deal with the Chinese that is supposed to allow the gradual and managed extraction of these minerals from the ground.
This way, there won’t be a haphazard use of these resources in the country. Kwaku Annan further revealed that one of the things that Anas Aremeyaw Anas does is that he scares people and influence them into taking bribes and when he’s done, he records them and makes them pay for things they probably had no idea of and that’s not called journalism.
You force people to take your bribes and then prosecute them for being evil. People are not only being extra careful because they want to take bribes but they’re afraid of what you might do next, Kwaku Annan angrily stated. From Kwaku Annan, the reason why the name Anas is scaring people is not because he catches people who are taking bribes but rather, it’s because he puts innocent people in trouble.
At a point in time, people feel they’re being approached and appreciated by their good work just like we see often. But according to Kwaku Annan, Anas uses this opportunity to give fame to himself by luring these persons into taking monies from him and then recording them and making them victims of bribery.
