Efia Odo hosted last night's United Showbiz on UTV. She hosted Black Sherif, Arnold, Mr Logic, Baba Sadiq, and Abeiku Santana. Although a lot was talked about during the show, what seems to be the most memorable moment from the show, at least, at the moment is Arnold's comment on Baba Sadiq making it known that Black Sherif stage set was initially made for Sarkodie. Yes, that's right. The Iconic moment of water pouring on Black Sherif was initially planned for Sarkodie.
Arnold is absolutely right with what he said to Baba Sadiq. He clearly caught Sadiq off guard as the latter could barely complete his sentences. Arnold stated clearly that it was not needed for Sadiq to make the public aware of the fact that the Blacko's stage set was initially planned for King Sark. The pundit said that the actions of Sadiq drew attention and the spotlight from what was such a moment for Black Sheriff and 3MusicAwards. He made the panel aware of the effects Sadiq's actions have caused.
Everyone who sees the iconic moment of water pouring on Black Sheriff will be immediately reminded of the fact that it was even planned for him. This unnecessary piece of knowledge is slowly taking over the spotlight; Black Sheriff deserved the attention and praise he was getting for his performance, especially since he just released his new hit single #KwakutheTraveler.
I side with Arnold on this issue. Sadiq probably said what he did because it was a simple case of name dropping. Sarkodie is a big Artist, so he thought revealing this information would create more buzz about the award ceremony; it did though. But Sadiq had no reason to do something that would take the attention away from an upcoming and super hardworking superstar like Black Sheriff.

Let us know what you think. Was it right of Abu Sadiq to share that piece of information so soon?
