The Ghana movie industry was hit with a sad news some days ago, when one of the veteran actors Kofi Laing popularly known as Kohwe passed on. He was suffering from stroke and whiles receiving treatment passed on. He was 76 years old. Kohwe is one of the actors who dedicated his whole life to film acting.
He was versatile and could flow in English and the twi language. Featuring in Akan drama, Television series and Kumawood movies. He is one of the pioneers in the Ghana Movie industry. The Ghanaian entertainment industry has lost a great legend and an icon, his legacy will forever remain. The one week celebration is scheduled to take place on the 15th October, 2021.
May his soul rest and peace, he has contributed his part to the movie industry and we are glad he did. The movie industry has indeed lost an icon, a pioneer, a legend.
