The actress tied the knot with her husband Lawrence is a colourful wedding at South Africa in 2016 but unfortunately, both couple had issues with each other of which they decided to go their separate ways. After a year of battling the divorce, they were granted divorce on the 31st of January 2020.
After the divorce, Afia Schwarzenegger gave Ghanaians some dance moves with the song "Wa sua me" by obaapa Christy to prove how happy she is after the divorce.
Another celebrity who celebrated her divorce with partner is Ms Nancy. Ms Nancy is a Ghanaian TV Presenter and life coach who host GHOne TV's adult show "duvet". After Ms Nancy divorced early last year, she took to social media to announce her divorce with her husband as she posted a picture of her dressed like a bride with her dad. Captioning the photo, Ms Nancy wrote something that indicated she was Celebrating her divorce. "Celebrating My Divorce. I am very grateful to God for the grace of getting married once even though it was a very short one. Very grateful that I was honored by a man who adored me and wanted to share his life with me” she wrote.
