In Ghana, several celebrities, including actors, actresses, musicians, etc usually declare their position on who they support during elections. In the last December 2020 general elections, celebrities such as Sarkodie, John Dumelo, Agya Koo, Mr. Beautiful, Prince David Osei, etc supported one or the other of the NPP's Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo and the NDC's John Dramani Mahama.
After the elections several people have been complaining about the hardships in the economy, especially during and after the covid-19 pandemic. But among the people who decided to be resolute behind the president and his government is Prince David Osei.
Prince David Osei is known to have supported the president even in hard times, asking Ghanaians to remain calm as things are going on well. This attracted a lot of backlash from the youth especially, as they thought the actor is rather insensitive.
Finally, the actor has admitted that things are very hard in Ghana. This admission ny Prince David Osei has landed him in more trouble on social media. The following are some of the reactions from Ghanaians on social media.
