On a post sighted by Showers_Trends, Sister Efia painful out full to address the issue of how awards schemes doesn't favor female talents. The 'asuoden' hit maker shared her grieve on Facebook morning Tuesday March, 29 at around 9:00 am.
The just ended 3music awards had Sister Efia win no award. Kidi was crown the overall artist of the year winning six awards in all. Sister Efia, Wendy Shay, Gyakie and Sefa did not win awards.
She outlined that as a cause for many female musicians quiting music. In her own words, "90% of female musicians I came to meet when coming out in 2015 have all given up, the young ones too after me have started giving up already". She stated that no one should blame them that the politics in this industry is pure witchcraft.
She also took a chance at throwing some shots at some female musician she helped win a huge award but became ungrateful.
