I thought Stonebwoy was a Jamaican in Ghana until I heard him speaking his local language-Beenie

Jamaican dancehall artiste, Beenie Man known in real life as Anthony Moses Davis has spoken on his relationship with Ghanaian dancehall giant, Stonebwoy.

He indicated that he’s known Stonebwoy since he was 17 years and even thought he’s a Jamaican until he spoke his mother’s language, Ewe.

Speaking on Accra-based Okay FM with Abeiku Santana, the Jamaican musician stated that Stonebwoy loves the dancehall genre to that he knows their language.

According to him, he thought Stonebwoy was a Jamaican who was trapped in Ghana until he heard him speaking the local language adding that he’s one of the few dancehall musicians who knows everything about the genre and also his style of Music in the Ghanaian music industry.

Beenie Man emphasized that Stonebwoy knowing their language and the originators of the dancehall genre made him know they he could become a maestro in dancehall Industry in Ghana and even to the world.
