Showboy Joins The Hashtag Free Akwapem Poloo from Prison

Showboy, a Ghanaian musician and a former member of AMG BUSINESS who is currently serving a 6 year jail term in the United States of America for stabbing a guy known as junior.

Sam Safo as he is known in real life was convicted by the US court in March 2019 for stabbing junior in the stomach during a fight.

In a short video circulating on social media,He has joined the declared his stands with the Free Akwapem poloo hashtag that has been on Instagram and Twitter since yesterday when the news broke out that Rosemond Brown has been remanded by court and a pregnancy test result has been requested ahead of the sentence pronouncements tomorrow April 16, 2021. Celebrities like Sarkodie, Efya Nokturnal, Sister Afia and Lydia forson also showed support to Rosemond Brown by posting the hashtags free Akwapem Polo and temper justice with mercy.

Showboy in his video said criminal offenders like Nana Appiah Mensah popularly known as NAM1 are still walking about freely yet with this little mistake of the actress, she is going to serve a jail term. Showboy also showed the dormitory he is sleeping in while serving the jail term and said the situation isn’t that good in Ghana prisons like it is in the Us and Rosemond Brown doesn’t deserve that considering the offence.

Rosemond Brown in July 2020, posted a nude picture of herself, squatting in front of her child on his birthday saying “ naked I was when I gave birth to you so do know leav me alone when you see me helpless one day”. This, didn’t fall on good sides of Akwapem Poloo and it a lot of bashing and criticisms until Rosemond came out to apologise and delete the post. Fast forward to that, the Child Right Organisation of Ghana has sued Akwapem poloo for the act and it’s for that reason she is currently in Ploce custody.
