In this article, it’s been a rough week for the LGBT community in Ghana and it seems Ghanaians and other religious leaders are not ready to accept them. According to them, they needed their rights in this country because they are also citizens who were born in Ghana. Most celebrities in Ghana stood against it but some few celebrities we all know stood with the decision of the LGBT society.
It’s was cleared one of our football player named Michael Essien gave a support for our leaders should give the LGBTQI community their rights they need. He is a Ghanaian who was born in December 1982.
According to him, such members shouldn’t be hate but our leaders need to support their rights. He wrote this on his page after some hours most of his followers weren’t happy and suspected him but he later deleted it when he realized his followers are decreasing.
