Chadwick Boseman married his longtime love Taylor Simone Ledward in the months before his death, according to the "Black Panther" star's family.

The 'Black Panther' actor who died of colon cancer, got married to his long-time girlfriend Taylor Simone Ledward few months before his death. The statement from Boseman's family noted that the actor tied the knot before the 43-year-old died on Friday, August, 28, following a four-year battle with colon cancer.

The actor, who played King T'Challa in Black Panther and baseball legend Jackie Robinson in 42, died of colon cancer at age 43. He had had colon cancer for 4 years. When he was diagnosed in 2016, the cancer was in stage III

Chadwick Boseman was born and raised in Anderson, S.C., and has two brothers. The eldest, Derrick, is still a preacher in South Carolina, and his younger brother Kevin is a dancer. He was born to Carolyn and Leroy Boseman, who worked as a nurse and an upholstery business manager respectively.

Letitia and Chadwick played siblings Shuri and T'Challa in Marvel's Black Panther.
