Earlan Bartley (born December 19,1993), better known as Alkaline, is a Jamaican Dancehall musician. Alkaline always has a persona of standing out with a high level of influence toward his supporters and the younger generation growing up around Dancehall Music.
In September 2016 he was nominated for a MOBO Award for the second time in the Best Reggae Act category. His "Champion Boy" single was remixed in October 2016 and used in an advertising campaign for the Red Stripe Premier League. With the crew name Vendetta which he uses to categorize his fans, announced the launch of a clothing line with clothing to be considered as Detta Gear.
In March 2018 he was featured on A Boogie wit da Hoodie's Single "Nonchalant" which was featured on his Album "International Artist". He was featured on another Album on October 2018 by Keith Sweat called "Playing For Keeps"with the single "Fuego". Chip also featured Alkaline on a remix single in November 2018 called "My Girl" along with Stefflon Don & Red Rat.
