A Circuit Court in Accra issued a witness summons on popular actress, Nana Ama MacBrown for refusing to testify.
The summons followed Macbrown’s refusal to cooperate with investigators and avail herself in court to testify.
MacBrown is to appear before the court presided over by Her Honour Evelyn Asamoah to testify in a case in which Lawrence Nana Asiamah[Bulldog] is standing trial.
She reportedly told the prosecutor in the case, Chief Inspector Simon Appiorsonu, that she would not be able to appear before the court to testify “no matter what.”
Nana Ama who is the host of United Showbiz on UTV, and Bulldog is one of her regular guests on the show. Some few months ago, Bulldog on the show made some comments about the President Nana Addo regarding to men's gold debts and was arrested by Ghana police and detained in police custody for some days, and was later granted a bail in a sum of Gh¢70,000 with three sureties, two of whom are to be public servants
MacBrown is said to appear before the court tomorrow, Friday, March 26, 2021.
