Reggie Rockstone, a veteran rapper, has broken the hearts of his fans and followers with a video of him crying over Akuapem Poloo's sentence.
The Accra Circuit Court sentenced Akuapem Poloo to 90 days in prison on Friday, April 15, 2021, for taking naked pictures with her son.
He said the single mother should have been pardoned in a video he posted on his Instagram page.
Tears streamed down his cheeks as he spoke passionately about what he called Akuapem Poloo's "ill-treatment."
Akuapem Poloo's fans were moved by the video and prayed for him.
Last Wednesday, the actress was found guilty on her own plea and remanded in police custody until her hearing, which took place this morning.
She was charged with posting nude photos of herself and her seven-year-old son. Before being convicted, she changed her not guilty plea to guilty.
The court, presided over by Her Honour Christina, postponed her sentencing until today, April 16, 2021, to allow her to take a pregnancy test to ensure she was not pregnant before she was sentenced.
In this case, Akuapem Poloo was sentenced to 90 days in prison for posting a nude photo of herself with her son on social media.
