Three days from now, Sunday 14th February 2021, the world be celebrating the day of love (Valentine Day) but the concept for which chocolate day is observed have been misunderstood by most youths in Ghana. Most youths have a perception that having a sexual intimacy on that day with their 'boyfriends' and 'girlfriends' prove their love for them.
Some also understand that is a time to show love to the poor and the needy in kind and in cash but they prefer to hold unto the old perception. The Founder and Head pastor of Perez Chapel international, Bishop Charles Agyinasare has used his official Facebook advise people not to show their love to someone through sex as we approach the day of love.
He said, "Sex is reserved for the context of marriage only. Don't prove your love to any man by sleeping with him before you are married". During the day of valentine, most ladies are expect gifts from their guys whiles the guys also expect sex in return. This mostly ends in pain and agony because they found themselves in an unplanned situation of either unwanted pregnancy or broken-heart.
Ghanaian youths should listen to the man of God and prevent certain regretting moment after valentine.
