DJ Cuppy decided to surprise Zlatan Ibile while he was performing on stage at his concert in London last night, 31 October 2021.
Both the audience and the Zanku singer didn’t know what was coming. As Cuppy sneaked onto the stage, the shouts and the joyful embrace from Zlatan told it all. Well, people still doubt if it was a genuine hug after all.
The fact is there was a feud between the two entertainers. It stemmed from a collaboration they had. DJ Cuppy featured Zlatan for her hit song Gelato. Later on, there were accusations from the camp of the featured act that the academic owes him.
Meanwhile, addressing the brouhaha, the DJ stated that according to her lawyers, she had never broken any of the contractual terms regarding the deal. Therefore, she owes Zlatan not. This issue broke out from the climaxing of the last year 2020 through February 2021. So, the enmity has been there until last Sunday.
Music lovers are anticipating that the stage performance seals their reunion.
The musician, DJ Cuppy is in London for the obvious reason. About a few weeks ago, she celebrated with the world her admission into Oxford University for her master’s degree to read African Studies. In fact, this is her third after graduating from King’s College London in July 2014, with a degree in business and economics. Incredibly, she also earned a master’s degree in the music business from New York University in 2015.
So, she took advantage of her stay in London to end the transcending feud between Zlatan.
