Ghanaian celebrities and their source of money

What is the definition of a celebrity? There have been many different interpretations of what a celebrity is. Some believe they are wealthy people, while others believe they are people who have made a positive impact on our society. Still others believe they are people who have given their time to serve their country as football players or in other national roles. Some may claim that they, like actors, musicians, and comedians, are the ones that entertain us.

With all of these fascinating and debatable definitions, one common core concept that we can't ignore is that celebrities are people who happen to be famous. 

When it comes to famous people, We often wonder where they acquire their money, despite the fact that we know what made them famous in the first place. Some people make money from what made them famous, while others have businesses that support them and others too have no known source of income.

The following are the list of six Ghanaian celebrities and their source of income.

Shatta Wale.

Shatta Wale is a dancehall artist, In addition to being a musician, he is also a businessman with many sources of income. The majority of his earnings come from his music label, but he also has endorsement partnerships with companies like as Storm Energy Drink, Infinix, and others. He also owns a transportation company called SHAXI, which is slated to go public soon.

Asamoah Gyan.

He is a well-known footballer who has retired from the Ghanaian national team. He's a business man with lots of businesses such as, Mama Vits Noodles and Rice, Asa Band, Event management, Paradise Pac Water, Transportation Business etc.


Sarkodie also gets most of his income from his music brand, and he also has some endorsement deals with some brands such as STANDARD SHATERED BANK, he also owns his own record label SARKCESS MUSIC.

John Dumelo

An actor, Farming business, and a politician.

Okyeame Kwame

A musician, the owner of the record label ONE MIC ENTERTAINMENT, a partner of HORSEMAN SHOES, endorsement deal with some brands, and investment in made-in-Ghana wears.

Nana Ama McBrown

She's an actress and a television host. She also have many ambassadorial deals with some brands such as Royal drinks, Hisense Ghana, Mcberry, Amalena Children's Haven. etc.
