This came after an examination by doctors revealed cause for concern regarding the monarch's health. Her loved ones hurried to be by her side at the time of her passing on Thursday afternoon at her house in Balmoral, where she had passed away in a gentle manner.
Since then, tributes have been pouring in from all parts of the world, and now the superstar player for Manchester United, Cristiano Ronaldo, has written his own statement on social media. He stated in the letter, "Seven years of my career were spent playing in the Premier League, making this my eighth season living in England."
