Ghana's dancehall king Shatta Wale has disclosed he is very connected with Effia Odo, another female musician who has attracted media attention for her controvesial music lyrics.
Appearing on the showbizz show on UTV,with Nana Ama Mcbrown, together with Abeku Santana, Shatta Wale said Affia Odo is his closest friend in the industry,saying anytime he composed his new song,he sends it to Effia Odo to endorse it before he releases it .
The controversial dance hall hit maker however said Ghanaian female artists do not understand his style of music, hence feel reluctant to feature them on his songs.
Shatta Wale said he believes controversies is part of the showbizz business and it is driving force towards his fame and success.
He blamed negative image of musicians as part of the issues affecting the progress of the music industry in Ghana.
Shafts Wale has been acknowledged has the most liked and popular musician in Ghana in recent years and has been consist in his career with many hit songs meriting him many local and international awards.
