Ghanaian media personality, Nana Aba Anamoah has added her voice to the controversies surrounding Jackie Appiah's luxurious mansion.
Some netizens have alleged that Jackie Appiah can't put up such mansion with the money she earns in acting and therefore, the Ghanaian actress is into 'prostitution'.
The allegations have raised the emotions of Nana Aba Anamoah and has taken to Twitter to address it.
According to the General Manager of GHOne TV and Starr FM, when a man becomes successful in Ghana, people attribute it to sakawa (money rituals) or drugs.
Also when a woman makes it, she's been tagged as ashawo (prostitute).
She further stated that "people who do this are permanently stuck in a snakepit."
She wrote;
"When you make it as a man in this country, they attribute it to sakawa or drugs.
You make it as a woman, you’re ashawo.
People who do this are permanently stuck in a snakepit. Wake up from the folly and attempt to make your life better too.
God be with us all."
