The senior partner at Africa Legal Associates, Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko, has been jabbed by the renowned Ghanaian investigative journalist, Manasseh Azure Awuni, after he made a comment about the twist and turn of galamsey menace in the country.
According to Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko, it will be a blockbuster if Ghanaian movie producers use the current developments of galamsey in a movie.
“Are any producers working on a movie on Galamsey? I think it will be a blockbuster. So much to tell, the drama, the destruction, the violence, the tragedies, deaths, politics, sex, money, international angles”, he said.
However, Manasseh Azure Awuni asserted that there is no need to make a Galamsey movie. This is because Ghanaians are watching the reality of galamsey due to bad governance.
He further asked Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko to co-author him so that they can write a nice book about this administration.
He wrote that,
“Thanks to the Akufo-Addo administration, we are watching it real time “fiilifiili” instead of relying on a contrived movie: the drones, the soldiers, the seizing and selling of excavators; the confession of the government that it doesn’t trust itself to be able to seize and handle excavators hence the reason to burn them; the “party no hia sika” and Osafo Maafo’s confession that Aisha Huan was allowed to go because the Champion of Ghana Beyond Aid is begging money from China to build roads; the international angle Chinese diplomat telling us diplomatically that we are stupid to have allowed the Chinese into our forests and turn around to blame them… Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko, you’re such a good writer. Maybe, we should co-author a book about this administration. Anaa yaanom b3 ka s3 Manasseh y3 bitter?”
