Sefadzi Abena Amesu is a vocally gifted female Ghanaian afrobeat artist who was born in the Northern area of Ghana on May 17th, 1995. Onstage, Sefa is a composer and performer who is signed to DBlack's 'Black Avenue Muzik' label.
The gifted female vocalist is one of four siblings from Afife, a hamlet in Ghana's Volta Region. Sefa is of mixed ancestry, like her father, with an Ewe father and a Northern mother.
After graduating from Ola Girls Senior High School in Ho in 2014, she earned a diploma in purchasing and supply from Accra Technical University.
She made a reputation for herself on Instagram by performing with live bands and festivals while following her dream of having a musical career.
In 2017, she signed a recording deal with Black Avenue Muzik and debuted in the Ghanaian music market with her first professional smash hit, "Marry Me," which featured Jupiter.
The teenage vocalist debuted her hit single "Shuga" in May 2018, which included DopeNation, a remarkable Ghanaian music duo. B2's song "Shuga" was an instant hit on the streets.
