I Served My Pastor For 18 Years And A Day Before My Wedding This Is What He Told Me

My name is Abigail from Quamnang in the Ashanti region. I am 28 years old and have lived with my pastor for almost 18 years after my mother died.

I didn't know my father till now, that's why he is everything to me, my mother, my father and my spiritual father.

He took me to school and looked after me until I graduated from university. I work as a doctor in one of the most pleasant public hospitals in Ghana.

I just got married and the day before my wedding the pastor told me this and I was still confused about what to do.

He told me that a certain man had come to him claiming to be my father, and he told me that he hasn't appeared in the past year.

According to him, he traveled to the United States when I was two years old. Unfortunately, a week after landing in the United States, he was arrested in a cocaine case for which he was innocent.

He spent nearly 26 years in prison and his family did not know where he, his wife and parents were. Unfortunately, telephones were not public in Ghana at the time, so he was unable to call anyone.

After his release, he was sent to Ghana. He went to his parents and told them about how he lived in the United States. After finishing his story he asked about his wife and they told him she was dead, he asked about his daughter and they showed him where I lived.

Now I don't know whether to accept it or not because my mother told me that my father died when I was five years old. And I don't know if he's telling the truth or if my mother lied to me?

Please, I need your opinion to decide this.
