Ghana’s highlife music over the years has been great and something else. And some of the musicians have left their footsteps for the upcoming ones to follow.
Most of these highlife artists like C.K Mann, Paapa Yankson and many more have unfortunately died. Their songs are still in minds of Ghanaians since they listen to them through radio stations, funerals and other fun birthday events. Most of this songs serve as an inspiration to the listeners and mostly people pick advice from it.
One of the great highlife legends Kojo Antwi, also known as Mr. Music Man is a Ghanaian Afro pop, reggae and highlife musical art. He was born into a family of 13 sibilings, he grew up in the darkuman a sub area in Accra. He has 22 albums in his name that shows how Good he is. After leaving school, Kojo Antwi started music career right after by playing with the band Boomtalents.
What has really happened to Kojo Antwi the old age is gradually catching up with him and his not able to release any songs yet. He recently performed with Stonebwoy on stage on a song he made way back with Stonebwoy.
He was a good musician,he inspires people a lot. Kojo Antwi is okay living a peaceful life but Ageing and due to that the continuous release of fresh songs can’t be done anymore.
