Akuapem Polo Saga: Lawyer Reveals As To Whether Nsawam Prison Will Admit His Client As Inmate

As Ghanaians by nature are sensitive to issues, in the aftermath of Akuapem Polo's Sentencing both lawyers and non-lawyers have began contributing passionately to the legal debates as if they know better than court. Some are enquiring as to which prison facility will admit Akuapem polo as inmate. Will it be the usher fort prison, Nsawam or Ankaful Prison.

Many social media personalities and influencers will throw shades, invectives as well as support. The usual 'all-knowing' experts in all subject areas usually led by think tank members will also come and remind us of how backward Ghana and her laws are.

The professors and doctors with perceived superior knowledge on most matters will also lead the crusade to remind us of how our courts and judges are this or that and how her lawyer Mr. Victor could have done better.

The lawyer for Rosemond Alade Brown, Mr. Victor has indicated in a an interview yesterday evening with Angel FM and TV, a popular station based in Accra as to whether his client will serve time at one of Ghana's premier prison the Nsawam prison.

In a conversation with Kofi Adoma Nwanwani on their evening '3 some' news, he answered no when asked if his client had been sent to Nsawam Prison to serve her sentence. The lawyer opined "Nsawam Prison does not admit prisoners as inmates due to the corona virus. And this is why the court should have taken it into consideration but they didn't."

He further explained that Akuapem polo is remorseful and the court should have been lenient with her.
