It has recently come to light that, Nigerian artistes, Wizkid and Burnaboy have made their way through to the Grammys, which has created a whole lot of controversial talks across Africa, especially in Ghana, where Ghanaians are wondering the reason why our artists are not making their way through the Grammys.
Taking a walk on so many social media platforms, some Ghanaians are blaming the lack of investments on the creative arts industry, whereas others are blaming the artists themselves for not putting in much lyrical content to be enable to take them through to the Grammys.
Bulldog breaks silence on this issue. Bulldog has recently added his voice to this chorus by saying in a post on Instagram that, in Ghana, we wipe the floor with our flag, but Nigerians rally round their flag.
He further added that, the government is not supporting the arts industry with its funds but when private entities try to do, the government shuts them down. To him, until a systematic attempt is administered, we cannot make sure international waves.
