Francisca Gawugah is popularly known as Sista Afia, is a Ghanaian singer and songwriter from Accra. She is believed to be the niece of Ghanaian International preacher, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan William. She shot into the music industry limelight after the release of her single hit "Jeje", which featured Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale and Afezi Perry.
Sister Afia has other songs to her credit which also features some major music acts in the country in the likes of Medikal, Kofi Kinaata, Bisa Kdei, Medikal, Sarkodie, Fameye, Eno Barony, Victor AD among many others.
