Livingstone Etse Satekla, better known by his stage name Stonebwoy, is a Ghanaian Afropop, dance hall and reggae singer. He is the CEO of Burniton Music Group. He won the Best International Act: Africa category at the 2015 BET Awards and Artist of the Year at the 2015 Ghana Music Awards.
He has been trending on Twitter this evening after his song dubbed Blessings featuring American- Ghanaian rapper Vic Mensah hits 1 million views on YouTube. For the first time in Ghana’s music industry, Stonebowy has been the first artist to hit over one million YouTube views within 24 hours.
Some Twitter users write on their various pages that, the views are all fake because the number of comments and likes do not tally with the views.
Even Kwadwo Sheldon, who is a Ghanaian YouTuber wrote on his Twitter page that, when a video hits a million views without a lot of comments, then it means that the views are likely to be fake.
Others also tweeted that they don't understand how a video’s views count can jump from 500, 000 to a million in just four hours.
