Ama K Abebrese calls Efia Odo's remark that "never give a black man power" "very dumb."

Actress Ama K. Abebrese has slammed actress Efia Odo for her remark that "never give a black man power, he'll only exploit it," calling it "absolutely dumb" and "a backward mindset."

This follows his tweet claiming Ghana's independence came too soon.

Efia Odo has recently been active in speaking out against the country's high cost of living and economic challenges, but it appears she missed the point this time, as she has been chastised for making such a comment. In response to her post, Ama K. claimed that such a remark minimizes the importance of contacts that have occurred in post-colonial Africa, where years of trade accords have benefited the West.

Because of bad leaders, colonialism should not be considered as the ultimate option for Africa, according to Ama K.

She went on to say that bad leaders must be held responsible for their acts.

"I doubt you'd argue that slavery was abolished too soon or that African Americans abused their position." You, on the other hand, argue that colonialism ended 'too soon.' Slavery and colonialism were not the beginnings of African history. There had been numerous great civilisations before us. We must continue to educate ourselves. "But don't forget about me with the post-colonial stupidity," the actress observed.
