Fast-rising female musician Gyakie has set the record for the first Ghanaian artist to stay on any Billboard Top Triller Global chart the longest. The ever delectable Gyakie set the new record with her hit song ‘Forever’ off her debut EP titled “Seed”.
Known in real life as Jackeline Acheampong, the songbird has hit every dance floor with her sensual voice and delivery and many music experts tip her to be the new thing.
Currently, her “Forever” song is charting at #3 on Billboard Top Triller Global with some good streams on other platforms.
The Billboard Top Triller U.S. and Top Triller Global charts highlight the biggest songs on the social media app Triller based on a formula blending the number of views of videos containing respective songs, the level of engagement with those videos, and the raw total of videos uploaded featuring each song, according to Triller.
In 2019, Gyakie released her first single titled; “Love is Pretty” which was followed by another single, “Never Like This.”
Gyakie dropped her five-track “Seed” EP in 2020 and it was a hit in Ghana as well Nigeria and Kenya. She dropped the remix of the song with Omar Lay from Nigeria in March 2021.
Gyakie is signed to international record labels like Sony Music Entertainment, RCA Records UK, and Sony Music African.
She is the daughter of legendary Ghanaian highlife legend Nana Acheampong.
