Rebecca Akosua Acheampomaa Acheampong (born 15 August 1984), regarded mononymously as Becca, is a Ghanaian singer, songwriter and actress. She first won popularity as a contestant on the second season of TV3's annual singing competition Mentor. Her debut studio album Sugar was launched in 2007; it earned her 5 nominations on the 2008 Ghana Music Awards. The album's lead single "You Lied to Me" received Record of the Year on the aforementioned awards show. Becca launched her 2nd studio album Time four Me on 16 May 2013. It capabilities guest appearances from 2face Idibia, MI, King Ayisoba, Trigmatic, Jay Storm and Akwaboah. The album was licensed 2x platinum in Ghana. Becca's accolades encompass one Kora Award, one National Youth Achievers Award, 4 Ghana Music Awards, and 3 4Syte TV Music Video Awards. In 2013, she headlined the yearly Girl Talk concert, which commenced in 2011. Becca was ranked 94 on E.tv Ghana's 2013 listing of the a hundred maximum influential people in Ghana.
