Theophilus Tagoe mostly known as Castro was a Ghanaian hiplife recording artist and musician.The whole nation was hurled into a state of confusion, uncertainty and tears when the news of Castro’s disappearance on the Ada Estuary hit the public on 6th July 2014.What made the death of Castro more devastating was that, he was just at the peak of his career and enjoying all the success that his years of hardworking had culminated into.
BOB SANTO
John Evans Kwadwo Bosompem popularly known as Bob Santo was a Ghanaian comedian and actor. He featured in movies speaking Akan.Together with his eternal fellow countryman, Judas, the two brought enthusiasm back to the local Ghanaian movie scene and helped to revive people’s interest in the local movies. They peered in several Ghanaian movies that became national hits.Unfortunately,Bob Santo was taken by death at his peak of his career.Santo was severely ill while they were in Sweden having an European tour. The tour was cut shot for Santo to return home for an immediate treatment. Santo spent about two weeks in hospital for treatment upon his return to Ghana but unfortunately,Santo was taken away by death in May, 2002.
EBONY
Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng also known by her stage name Ebony Reigns, was a Ghanaian dancehall or Afrobeats artist known for her hit songs.She was discovered by Bullet from Ruff n Smooth.Ebony became the next Ghanaian celebrity to join the long list of Ghanaian celebrities who died just when they were at the peak of their careers in 2018 when she was involved in a terrible accident. Her tragic death occurred on the Bechem-Nsuta road, when she was returning from Sunyani. According to reports, the car in which she was crashed with a bus which was coming in the opposite direction. Ebony was surmounted to become the first female artiste of the year at the Vodafone Ghana Music awards.Ebony died at her peak of her music career.
