A disturbing video has been released by the family of Sylvester Oromoni, a junior student of Dowen College who died days ago. The video was released to debunk any statement by the school saying that their son wasn’t bullied or tortured in school.
According to a post on social media by a family member of the boy, before Sylvester gave up the ghost, he mentioned names of the students that beat him up just because he decided not to join their school cult group. Sylvester was a boarding student.
Subsequently, Dowen College released a statement, denying this report and stated that there is no cult group in the school (read here).
The school further stated that Sylvester's injury happened while he was playing soccer, it was a hip injury and after he was given first aid, his family was called to come pick him up.
But the boy's family has released videos and a photo to show that it wasn't just a hip injury that killed their son.
In the photos it is clear that the young boy had bruises on his mouth which he said he got when he was forced to take a substance into his mouth.
A graphic video released by the family shows Sylvester writhing in pain on his hospital bed while his family surrounded his bed.
His family members are heard cursing the people who inflicted such injuries on their son.
See the videos below:
What is your opinion on this case, do you think it is a football injury or it actually looks like the young boy was tortured in school by some people. Football injuries never affect your mouth in such a way.
