The singer has applauded the sitting president of the republic of Ghana, Akufo-Addo, for the good works he has done since he gained power into office to rule as president.
According to him [Cwesi], he in 2016 campaigned for the NPP to win power because he believed that they are very capable of moving the nation furthur, and that his hope in them still grows high as they never failed to deliver on their promise.
The Overcome singer on Monday, October, 12th, 2020 shared a video of himself on social media where he talked about some of the achievements made by the NPP government, and why we as Ghanaians should give them another chance to win in the coming 2020 General Elections in December.

“I pray for and wish @NAkufoAddo a successful campaign and re-election 2020.
“To finish what he started 4 years ago which includes the completion of the national cathedral.
“I also call for the politics of honor respect and peace in our growing democracy.
