Though the 22nd Vodafone Ghana Music Awards has ended but definitely there would be commentaries coming from all angles. There would be people who will not agree to the awards that were given to some artistes and will vent their displeasure over it. Last night, the enviable award, Artiste of the year was given to a fine gospel singer Diana Antwin Hamilton.
Music Video Director and a board member at 3 Music, Ezekiel Tetteh has made a shocking revelation on his Facebook account. According to him, the award that was given to Diana Hamilton was not meritorious and they know the reason why they gave to her.
He said not that Diana deserves that award but the only reason she got was because, they wanted to hit back at the prestigious 3Music Awards for giving them headaches by raising the bar. He again said Kidi did not win because they are using Diana Hamilton as a sacrificial lamp to fight a secret battle. He then said Nii Ayite Hammond who works at Charter House knows.
