At the recently concluded KabFam Ghana music awards, gospel musician Diana Antwi Hamilton was named overall artiste of the year.
Diana defeated Medikal, Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Kidi, Kuami Eugene, Kofi Kinaata, and Stonebwoy to win the artiste of the year award at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards and the Ghana Music Awards USA for the third time.
To accept the award, the "Adom" singer was accompanied by her husband and management.
Diana thanked her fans and loved ones for voting for her when she accepted the prize.
She also complimented the event's organizers, Alordia Promotions and West Coast, for their support of Ghanaian artists and for honoring Ghanaians who have made significant contributions to the development of Ghanaian music.
Medikal, Shatta Wale, Kidi, Reggie & Bollie, and others were among the other winners on the night.
Lexis Bill of Joy Entertainment and Confidence Haugan of Entrepreneur Confidence hosted the event.
