Former free zone board secretary, Kwadwo Twum Boafo has told member of parliament for Kwadaso Constituency, Hon Kingsley Nyarko that he should stop praising president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for winning African of the year award this year. Kwadwo Twum Boafo who is an NDC member stated that this is not an award NPP folks should be hyping as if president Nana Akufo-Addo was the first person to win the award.
This issue popped on Metro TV good morning Ghana show today, Thursday, 9th December, 2021 when Hon Kingsley Nyarko was telling host, Randy Abbey that the president must be praised because after Rwanda president, president Nana Akufo-Addo is the president who have won the award.
Mr Kwadwo Twum Boafo responding to the member of parliament stated that he should stop what he is saying because famous Hushpuppi has also won African of the Year award before.

Kwadwo Twum Boafo: Stop it. Hushpuppi has also won African of the Year before. Don't do it as if Akufo-Addo is the first person to have receive the award before.
