After the first phase of VGMA, Kwadwo Sheldon registered is displeasure during an interview on HS TV. According to Kwadwo Sheldon, the unsung category of Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2021 which was won by Nanky was undeserving. The unsung category had eight nominees that is Nanky, Oseikrom Sikani, Malcom Nuna, Kwame Yogot, kobby Tuesday, Nana Blu, Adelaide The Seer and Queen Dalyn. Kwadwo Sheldon stated that, Malcom Nuna would have been the right person to have won the category since Nanky is barely known in the music industry.
He went ahead to bash the award scheme for making almost all the artiste perform with live band knowing very well that, most of them aren’t comfortable in delivering a spectacular performance with live band. Kwadwo Sheldon believes 3Music Awards is a better alternative to Vodafone Music Awards as they keep repeating the exact content over and over again. For the second phase of the awards night, he is set to comment on what transpired on Monday as most individuals are expecting him to add more fuel to the already burning flame.
