Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr. is a reggae-dancehall artist from Ghana. Shatta Wale, formerly known as Bandana, is his stage name. His most well-known song is "Dancehall King," which earned him the Artiste of the Year award at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards in 2014.
Shatta Wale, a popular dancehall act, took to social media yesterday to explain who was responsible for the closure of social media platforms including as Facebook, Whatsapp, and Instagram.
It may be recalled that all three of billionaire Mark Zuckerberg's social media sites fell down due to a technical issue, leaving many users wondering if they had a problem with their network or phone.
Well, the self-proclaimed Dancehall king has disclosed that he was the one who took down all social media platforms so that people would not post needless information on the internet.
Taking to his social media account, he stated:
“people who want go chat for Instagram and Facebook then things and do nonsense for there…I bock am”
