The Ghanaian entertainment industry has over the few years been shallowed due to some unknown reasons. Artists find it very difficult to make their way through and this has been a big blow to the industry. This has led to the loss of wonderful talent from our young ones who now resort to do menial businesses.
Their dreams of making it in the industry has been shattered since there is no push from anywhere. This situation is very appalling and hard to believe. This why Ghana's popular dance hall artist Shatta Wale is yet to deliver a state of the nation's address to raise concern of the current situation of the entertainment industry.
This initiative by the awarding winning musician has been embraced by all people from the various sectors of the industry. The state of the nation's address would be streamed live on all his social media handles. It is his hope to revive the music industry and also pave way for up and coming actors and musicians to showcase their talents. This would be held in June 2, 2021. This was announced in his official Instagram page @shattawalenima
