The Kwaku Frimpong hitmaker Black Sherif is a fast-rising Ghanaian musician who seems to be taking over the music space with his newly released tune ‘Road To The Tape- 1st Sermon’ freestyle. Known in real life as Mohammed Ismail Sherif, the 19-year-old musician has evolved from a viral sensation to one of Ghana’s hottest music stars pushing RnB and Trap Music to new heights in just one year.

The artiste who has become a threat to poverty according to many Ghanaian music lovers came through the limelight with his major ‘Money’ hit song. Black Sherif is officially known as Mohammed Ismail Sherif and he is known at home as Kwaku Frimpong which he mentioned in the Second Sermon. Apart from his stage name, Black Sherif also goes by the nickname Blacko, He's gone on-trend again after he release his featured track Anadwo which Ghanaians are partying to it.
He began songwriting whilst still in high school. According to the rapper/singer, it all began when he started failing a lot of his papers and decided to try a small rap competition among his peers. Black Sherif is loved for his energy, flow, passion, and beautifully arranged lines. His songs mostly speak about the struggles of the youth and the burning desire to end poverty. Black Sherif graduated from Kumasi Academy in 2019 and he is currently reading Marketing at The University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA).
Black Sherif is known to be one of the Kumerica guys making waves in the music industry. But he originally hails from Konongo Zongo.
