Multiple Award-winning Ghanaian singer and songwriter, Martin King Arthur, professionally known as Kofi Kinaata has shared the very secret that makes him keep winning the "songwriter of the Year" Award for the past 4 years consecutively.
The fourth time Winner of 'Songwriter of the Year' is known to be a deep thinker who translates the life experience of his fans on beats, makes it beautiful for people to relate to his exact lyrics in his music.
Speaking to Journalists at the venue last Saturday after winning the keenly contested category, Kofi Kinaata further added that, his main aim of educating, entertaining, and informing his fans supersedes the urge to join the bandwagon. “I don’t follow trends, I rather want to educate, entertain and inform the fans” Kofi Kinaata said.
He also mentioned that even though he is not a person who is doing music for awards, giving his fans the bragging right by the awards he wins also guides him to be interested in it.
In other interviews, nicknamed Philosopher, Kofi Kinaata revealed that he puts himself in the shoes of listeners of his music and asks himself if he would have listened to the song if it were to be another Composer? This guides him on the themes he chooses to write on.
