This morning, Joy Fm made a post on Twitter, which have gotten massive reactions from Ghanaians on the app. They posted that, “ Every Ghanaian is worth almost GHS 14,000. This was after the economy grew by 0.4% last year according to the Ghana statistics service”
Some Ghanaians commented that, they do not believe that the economy has grown by 0.4% in the last year because they have not seen any significant change in their financial lives, as the prices of commodities have been increasing from last year.
Others also commented that, it’s great but when it doesn't show in the lives of the people, then its nothing but graphs and figures. Nothing more. How i wish our leaders will for once take action to help the citizens rather than focus only on providing numbers which got nothing to do with pysical progress.
Some people also gave out their mobile money numbers for the government to transfer their funds to them because they are in financial crisis.
Here are more comments from Twitter;
