Derrick Sarfo Kantanka as he is officially known is one of the best rising rappers in Ghana among the likes of Strongman, Tutulapato and Awal. It seems he is becoming more successful because he has gained international recognition as well.
Amerado Burner is his stage name which the Amerado means governor in his Akan dialect, meaning he governs the rap universe. He came limelight when he released the first ever newscasting track in Ghana.
He was born and raised in Ejisu, Kumasi in the Ashanti region of Ghana. He studied at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology senior high school at Kumasi. He is known for his special abilities in rapping.
He has collaborated with many big artistes like Sarkodie and shatta wale of which he made Ahodwo Las Vegas with shatta wale and the kumerican boys. His single "me ho y3" also made a great hit in Ghana including his latest "Abotr3" with Black sherrif.
He normally raps in twi and has been endorsed by the father of hiplife in Ghana, Rockstone that he is the best rapper in Ghana now.
