Former President John Dramani Mahama bis causing massive stir online, Facebook to be specific, as he has posted a picture of himself when he was appointed the Deputy Minister for Communication under the late Former President Jerry John Rawlings from 1998 to 2001.
The picture, though black and white in appearance, reveals the energetic and handsome John Dramani Mahama then. This has elicited massive responses and reactions from Ghanaians on his Facebook handle minutes after the picture was posted.
John Dramani Mahama is known to have tasted every position and step on the political hierarchy and ladder, as it were. He was an assembly member, a Parliamentarian, a Deputy Minister, a Minister of State, a running mate, a Vice President, interim President for six months, and an elected President for four years. He is currently the leader of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the flagbearer of the same party in the December 7, 2020 general elections.
