Salinko, a Kumawood actor, has weighed in on the alleged feud between Ras Nene, also known as Dr Likee, and Kwadwo Nkansah, better known as LilWin, as well as the public argument over who is more popular currently.
LilWin previously stated in an interview that people should not compare him to his colleague Dr. Likee since they are not on the same level.
Unlike Dr. Likee, who is only famous on YouTube, he claims to be a legend in the profession.
Although Dr. Likee did not comment to that accusation, Yaw Dabo, another Kumawood actor, said in a separate interview that LilWin should learn to accept the fact that Ras Nene is now in charge.
When it comes to the controversy, Salinko has a different viewpoint.
Dr. Likee should not be compared to LilWin, he said in an interview with Graphic Showbiz, because LilWin, who is also a singer, is still very successful after a decade in the field.
“LilWin has been around for almost a decade and can fill any function that is assigned to him. Whether it's a comedic or serious part, LilWin is up to the task. “Comparing Ras Nene to LilWin is like comparing some of these young rappers to Sarkodie, which is completely disrespectful,” he remarked.
According to Salinko, people should learn to appreciate individuals who have worked hard in the profession and treat them with respect.
“We must respect and value the contributions of the seniors in the game. He went on to say, "I applaud any actor who has been around for more than a decade and is still relevant."
