Vic Mensa Was Arrested At A D.C. Airport After Being Accused Of Traveling With Illegal Drugs.

Chicago rapper Vic Mensa was captured at Washington Dulles International Airport after he was blamed for having illicit drugs in his ownership, as indicated by U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

Mensa, conceived Victor Kwesi Mensah, showed up at Dulles on a departure from Ghana around 7 a.m. on Jan. 15, a news discharge from the office said. During a bag assessment, agents said they tracked down a few sorts of illicit drugs, including 41 grams of fluid LSD, around 124 grams of psilocybin cases, 178 grams of psilocybin gummies, and 6 grams of psilocybin mushrooms.

Psilocybin is a stimulating chemical that normally happens in hallucinogenic mushrooms, as indicated by LiveScience. LSD and psilocybin items are both Schedule 1 substances under government law, as per the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.

Mensa was accused of the crime of narcotics possession and was arrested by police at the air terminal, the release said.

Mensa, 28, had ventured out to Ghana with partner Chance the Rapper and a few other Chicago-based artists to assist with advancing the travel industry in Africa, Complex reported. The two rappers imparted an image of themselves to Ghana's president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, on Jan. 14.
