Popular Ghanaian singer KiDi had begun to talk tough after he has been nominated for Artiste of the Year in the ultimate showdown at the 2021 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs).
The singer who has recently been crowned ‘Artiste of the Year’ at the 3Music Awards and is aiming to grab this again but will have to face competition from his record label mate Kuame Eugene, who was also the winner of the last edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Award last year.
In the interview, he made with an media personality Doreen Avio, he said “I have seen the social media arguments. There was a period Medikal and I was trending because of that. When I see these things I laugh, the fans, they always have their opinion."
"I’m glad because the year under review, the job is there, the works speak for themselves. Enjoyment came, Covid shut it down but the “Enjoyment” didn’t shut down, it kept going.”
The singer will not only face competition from Kuame Eugene alone, but he will also have to beat the likes of Adina, Diana Hamilton, Medikal, and Sarkodie if he wants to win the award.
