The ‘Forever’ hitmaker, Jacqueline Acheampong, popularly known as Gyakie decided to ease the minds of Ghanaians who still cannot believe the fact, by performing some of her father’s hit records on United Showbiz on UTV.
Basking in the glory of father, she performed “Na Anka Ebeye Den” in UTV studio. Her exciting performance got other musicians like Amerado, Yaw TOG, who were present dancing.
The young Gyakie performed some of her own songs with a live band.
Quizzed on how she is handling criticism from the public, Gyakie said, “I will take the good part of it to improve myself and ignore the ones that are not helpful”.
Despite being young in the industry, Nana Acheampong’s daughter has received four nominations for the upcoming VGMA awards.
Industry players are also very optimistic that Gyakie will bring something new to Ghana’s music industry.
