He released a remix of the song which featured Article Wan, Medikal and Kuami Eugene. He was a member of MTN Hitmaker Season 4. He won an award for the best new artiste of the year at the 2020 VGMA's.
Fameye was born in Accra but hails from Bogoso, in the Western Region of Ghana. He attended Odorgonno Senior High School and completed in the year 2013. He was formally a rapper in his high school days before switching to the Afro beat genre.
Fameye was allegedly singing in ghettos beach sides now God has bless him in bundles now he is a celebrity in Ghana and to the world .
Life was not rosy for him as he struggled to take of himself resulting in hime being a waste collector. He had to sleep on the streets of Accra because he had no money to rent a room.
Later after Fameye started his music career, Liquid Beatz offered to help him so he could sleep in the studio until he finally was able to rent a place for himself.
